LATEST NEWS & EVENTS
60 YEARS OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION ! NSSA ZONE 2 SHOOT - August 12-14, 2016
The Loch Raven Skeet & Trap Center (LRSTC) was founded in 1956. This year, 2016, we celebrate our 60th Anniversary. And so we now enter our 7th decade of operation. This is possible because of the inspiration of our founding members and the good works of literally hundreds of volunteers and paid staff over the years.

We have 7 fully equipped Skeet fields, each of which has a Trap house for throwing Trap targets with 2 of them in regular operation for Trap and Wobble and a 3rd equipped as a supplement when required. And our 5-Stand field offers 8 different target presentations which change at least once a month; mostly from volunteer efforts.

This year LRSTC hosts the National Skeet Shooting Association's Zone 2 Shoot the weekend of 8/12-8/14/2016. This shoot is open to registered shooters from Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Doubles on Friday, 2 Gauges on Saturday and 2 Gauges on Sunday. For more information, contact our Skeet Chair, Richard Garre by e-mail at skeetchair@lochravenskeettrap.com or by phone at (410)517-1681.

SHOOTERS MEMORIAL - OCTOBER 16, 2016Youth & Adult Skeet Shooting Courses -- 2016 Registration Open!
This special shoot is a 4-Gun Shoot with 50 Birds per Event Held on 1 SINGLE DAY, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2016. What a great day to celebrate our 60th Anniversary!

At Loch Raven Skeet and Trap Center one of our greatest pleasures is to introduce newcomers to the sport of skeet shooting. But many people who are new to the sport, or shooting in general, are not comfortable just throwing themselves into it. That's why we have developed a skeet shooting course for adults (18 and over) as well as a Youth Camp tailored for children (10 to 17) and their parents. Each course provides instruction on gun safety, shooting etiquette, and proper technique for skeet shooting. So if you're new to shotgunning, or the sport of skeet shooting, and feel you would benefit from instruction, and some hands-on experience, check out our education & instruction pages and electronically sign up for one of our popular courses!
